A Personal Journey

Lupus erthematous is an autoimmune disease named after the wolf because of the malar rash, that some patients get, this rash resemble the mask like face of a wolf. I am afraid of the wolf. We  have all this history where the wolf is a pagan symbol, where it evokes the idea of the devil and evil, such as the werewolf. That savageness is seen as destructive. I have never embraced the wolf.

But then, the wolf, to some people, is primordial, instinctual. If you are pro-wolf, the image of the wolf is positive in that if you listen to your instinct it will guide you in the right direction.

These pages depict my journey to understand the wolf which the disease is named for. Hopefully, I will learn to walk with the wolf without fear and be led in the right direction.

These pages are for all that come peacefully to the pack. And these pages are for me, so I can learn.

Walk with me my friend, let us embrace the wolf together.

The creation of Embracing The Wolf was the start of my many paths. I still feel that it is a wonderful gift of inner peace that I was blesssed with. It will remain here in it's original form for as long as I have a net home. The menu below and the one at the end of this experience are the only menus on these pages. I hope you will stay and continue embracing the wolf with me, but if you do not want to do this, go to the menu box below. For those that wish to walk with me, please click below on "Start the Journey".
