Imagination Cam


I have been spending some time resting with Africam. It is a fantastic place with a lot of live cams for you to watch the wildlife, the landscape, the flowers, birds, insects, oh you just never know what you might see on one of their cams. It is very relaxing and also very exciting.

They also offer cam drives at different hours of the day and night. They are great! The Rangers go out in their vehicles and bring the wonders of the world right to your computer. The day time viewing is breath taking and at night when they shine their spotlights on something, you just never know what is going to be looking back at you.

It was on one of these cam drives, when the Rangers were pulling out getting ready to go into the Bush, that I noticed and saved the picture below. It looked like a lady was in that tree to me. So of course *grins*, I asked if it looked like a lady for real or was it my imagination. They wrote back - was just a tree, was my imagination. Of course I think I was priviledged to have captured the image of one of the beautiful Bush Spirits. I also figured that sometimes (ok a lot of the time!) I am watching the "Imagination Cam" of life. All this gave me the idea for the picture above.

I feel I need to include the following for parents and those who are a little more sensitive. What they are showing is nature; the cycles of life, birth, and death. Something all creatures, including us, go through. You may see a cam picture of a pride of lions taking down a zebra or a leopard feasting on a deer. Please go with the knowledge that Africam shows all of nature's realities and it is live.
