As Suzie looked the situation over, fawn started sucking on her knuckle. Poor little fawn, she was so upset. Fisher was running around in a circle going "I don't know - I don't know. Oh my! Where is it" And rabbit, well rabbit is nice but not to bright. He was just sitting there with a "Huh? What is going on?" look upon his face. Then Suzie saw the albino twins and she knew who Porcy was so very angry with. They had guilt written all over their little pale faces.
With fawn on knuckle Suzie walked over to a very upset Porcy and asked him to please come out of the room to talk. They went into her den and Porcy told Suzie, in very upset words, that he woke up this morning and he did not have his I love Suzie shirt on. Someone had taken it off him during the night!. He just knows that it was the twins! For they had been looking at it longingly since they first came over. Porcy ranted and he raved, he was so agitated! Suzie listened and let him get all this upset out of his system.
Then Suzie told him that she would go talk to the twins. Porcy said, "Suzie, please I want shirt back!" Suzie looked with compassion at her little friend; he looked sad, and somehow smaller, guess because he was not puffing up at all now. As Suzie left the room, Porcy sighed longingly and lay down upon the rug, completely exhausted and sorrowful, dreaming longingly of his shirt.
Suzie went into the guestroom, she asked fisher and rabbit to leave, but of course fawn stayed clutched
with her mouth sucking on Suzie's knuckle. The twins did not seem to mind her there, and this made fawn feel a little better. She was very sensitive and all of this worried her very much.
Suzie had a very long talk with the twins. As she and Porcy suspected, the twins had taken the shirt. They said they noticed how everyone was always looking at that shirt. They thought if they had the shirt they could take turns wearing it. They were hoping that people would look at them differently then. Maybe people would notice the shirt instead of only seeing that their color was different from other raccoons. Suzie had a long talk with the brothers, about stealing, how wrong it was to take something that was not yours. She also talked about being different. Suzie knew that they did not realize that everyone was different in some way. These differences are part of what makes each of us unique, one of a kind, and so very special.

Fawn and Suzie took the twins into the other room to see Porcy. Suzie thought he was going to hit them over the head with his little paw when he found out where they had put his shirt. Rolled up in a little ball at the bottom of the closet! Of course Porcy did not do this, he is not a violent fellow, but he was very mad and had every right to be angry. She had the twins shake it out, wash and dry it, under Porcy's supervision, before she took them home.
Suzie was glad to see that Porcy was looking better. As he was putting on his freshly cleaned shirt, he said, "Suzie, I am sorry for my yelling and carring on but I was very upset about finding my shirt gone. I do not want to be with the twins right now. I am still kind of upset. I will stay here, would you take everyone home now please?
Suzie told Porcy that she understood. She told him that she had already told the twins they were going home. She thought everyone needed to go to his or her homes now and rest. They all looked tired from all of yesterdays' activities, staying up late and then the excitement of the morning. It was time for the sleep over to end.
Porcy said, "Yes, Suzie you are right, except for the morning theft, we did have lots of fun!"
When fawn saw that Porcy was all right, she finally stopped sucking on Suzie's knuckle and went over and stood beside him. You could see by the way that fawn's little eyes looked at Porcy, that she was alright too. And that she thought Porcy was a very special fellow!. Suzie smiled because she could see that this made Porcy very happy. Already he was puffing up, his proud, loveable, enchanting self again.
