 It's difficult to pick out a favorite memory of being on the Texas after 50 years. Any memory of the ship is a favorite one. The U.S.S. Texas became home to most of us sailors. Some of us actually thought that serving on the Texas made us "adoptive sons of the state of Texas", the state where our heroes, the cowboys, roamed. Click on the picture of Sonny to read. |
