A SPECIAL FRIEND

This very handsome fellow greets me sometimes by standing up tall as soon as he sees me. I can see him looking at me and watching my approach to his home. He is absolutely gorgeous! I know women who spend a fortune trying to get the coloring of their hair just right with high lights and tones out of a bottle. I don't care what they try, nothing will ever even come close to the special highlights and tones of his beautiful fur! Nature always makes the most beautiful things. *smiles

His mate does not have much to do with me; she will politely nod hello and that is all. But my dear friend he will stay close. He watches and listens to me, sits down and we talk. He is a most understanding friend.

One time when there was a group of people around, they were totally amazed at his greeting. "He knows you!", they all said. I smiled so much inside. You know, when something this special happens I sometimes think, now Jenny, (*Grin* Yes, I talk to myself too!) it is just your imagination running wild. But if other people see this too, I figured I could not really be dreaming this. I will confess that I am almost afraid to totally acknowledge this very special blessing. Like if I do, this something so very special will go away.

One day after he and I were talking and other people were around.

OH wait a minute, excuse me please. First I must say that I did most of the talking that day. He was mostly being a wonderful, understanding listener! But he was talking some too. If you watch their body movements and look into the wonderful eyes of the animals while you are speaking to them, you know what I mean when I say they talk too. All you have to do is be a wonderful, understanding listener too. If you really listen, you will hear! *smiles* We had a very good talk that day.

When our talk was over and I told my friend goodbye, I headed down the hill toward the buffalo. As I was walking down the hill I heard tremendous laughter from the area of my friend's home. I turn around to see what antics he was up to. Already I am laughing to myself, for if you have ever seen two bears playing friskily you know what a wonderful treat that is to see!

When I looked, there my friend was with his mate. And he was doing what "He" bears are suppose to do with "She" bears in order to get "baby" bears.

And the people they were pointing at me saying, "Hey lady, you just turned on a bear!"

Well, I do not really think that what they were saying is true. Was just his time and nature was calling. And *Grin* she must have been in a good mood too!

But I have been kind of wondering if this is something I should put on a resume? "Turning on Bears" Guess it would probably go under other special skills and talents. *Chuckle*
