This is how I'm praying
Come consider hear my reverent chanting
Take away dejection, the pain that makes rejection
Please make it go.


Still my thinking
In my mind I'm speaking
Prayers of pleading please now hear my calling
In this world of madness filled up with so much sadness
Let us see the beauty of our souls
Give us signs of miracles, love and hope.


Don't you know how very beautiful you are to me
Don't you know how your light shines from within
Don't you know that without you I am lost
Your love helps to guide my shining star.


Gentle ponders
In my mind I wonder
How this Being can stand all this beating
Cradle them in kindness, fill their minds with calmness
Let us see the beauty of their soul
Take my love to help their strength to grow.


Let them float on the breezes of love's sweet song
Tenderly wrap it securely around their heart
Let them see that their fate is from a far
Let them see how beautiful they are.
